BRAMARAM SHOOTING POINT / LEMON GRASS VALLEY VIEW
Famous after the Malayalam movie “Bhramaram”, the place where Superstar Mohanlal rides the jeep on top of this hill station. Lemon grass farming surrounds this area. The view from the top of this rock is really amazing, especially the sunset.
FRUITS GARDEN
There are many fruit and vegetable gardens in this place. Apples, Oranges as well as several varieties of Peaches and Plums are grown here.
SANDAL FOREST
Maryoor contains a number of sandalwood forests and is the only place in Kerala where natural sandalwood forest is present.
MUNIYARA – ANAKOTTAPARA PARK
Muniyara, situated in Marayoor, tourists can trek around the area to view 15 different types of Dolmens, which belongs to the Neolithic Age, i.e. between 3000 BC and 14000 BC.
CHINNAR FOREST SAFARI
The Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary has a great number of exotic plants and animals. It spreads across 90 sq km and is a protected area because of its exceptional flora, fauna, and ecological features. A safari through the sanctuary is a unique experience.
